Art Therapy

Explore, express & discover a safe therapeutic and confidential space

Art therapy is life enhancing for people of all ages and all walks of life. It is a unique creative process where art-making and psychotherapy combine to aid individual growth and awareness.

You do not need to be skilled in art to benefit from therapy. By engaging in the non-verbal process, you can discover new insights and self-understanding, supported by the art therapist who guides you through the process.

It is a supportive experience , the content of the sessions, as well as the artwork, is kept safe and confidential.

MARCH 25TH - APRIL 22ND

Embodied Change

Healing is not a straight line — it’s a circle. A rhythm. A return to self. Come as you are — and let nature, story, and creativity guide your healing.

Embodied Change is a gentle, five-week art therapy program for adults navigating mental ill health, grief, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. Rooted in the wisdom of the Southern Hemisphere Medicine Wheel, this journey invites you to explore healing through the elements of nature, symbolic Australian animals, and expressive art-making.

Each week, you’ll move through a different direction of the wheel — East, North, West, South, and Centre — uncovering your voice, courage, emotions, boundaries, and inner wisdom.

What you’ll experience:

  • Guided art-making using natural materials and mixed media

  • Cultural storytelling and metaphor-based reflection

  • Journaling and sharing in a trauma-informed space

  • Gentle movement and sensory grounding practices

Themes we explore:

Week 1 – East: Voice, vision, and new beginnings
Week 2 – North: Courage, transformation, and fire
Week 3 – West: Emotional flow, release, and adaptability
Week 4 – South: Rest, boundaries, and earth-based healing
Week 5 – Centre: Wholeness, spirit, and integration
