The aim of these clinics is to encourage women to participate in preventative screening programs for cervical and breast cancer by offering free cervical screening and breast checks. To make an appointment, please phone Reception on 02 4365 2294 or email us at reception@ccpc.com.au

We will book you in to the first available appointment, generally its a 1 or 2 week wait. We operate the Clinic every Wednesday from the Wyong Central Community Health Centre (Level 1, 38a Pacific Highway, Wyong). The best access is via the back  of the building, with entry to the carpark off River Rd. So check our directions attached to the right of this screen.

Why do preventative checks?

Research has shown that 80% of women who develop cervical cancer have not been screened – or have not had regular screening – for the disease. Participation in regular cervical screening can reduce a woman’s risk of being diagnosed with cervical cancer by 96%. Aboriginal women are five times more likely to die of cervical cancer than non-Aboriginal women, largely due to recognised barriers in accessing primary health care. They also have a higher incidence of, and mortality rate from, breast cancer.
